Dark Orange Muscat.
I was at that Organic Seed Alliance conference...I may have given out samples...and I am a seed saver and breeder from Washington. The tomato sounds like something I would have created and Muscat is a name I am very familiar with since grapes of that name were grown in California during the late 80's and earlky 90's.
A picture of the fruits.
I am posting about this one since there is some question of who the Washington breeder/saver is. Therefore, I used the pollen from it today on 18 different female varieties. I crossed it to Primary Colors, Stripes of Yore, Flaming Burst, Green Grape Beyond, Boxed Brandy, Make My Day, Blue Goldy, Dancing with Smurfs, Helsing Junction Blue, F-1 Dr. Carolyn x Green Zebra, F-2 Sky Reacher x Green Brandy and couple of others I can't remember now. Oh, yes...Trunnel Stake. I can pick up what is in Dark Orange Muscat through the progeny.
And for the record I am on tag number 535...all crosses are during the last three weeks.
indet., unique dark orange cherry, green inside, shoulders are brownish, sweet fruity flavor. Bred by a Washington tomato breeder

65-70 days. Indeterminate. Tall vines produce unique dark orange cherries with bronze shoulders with some green inside. Sweet, fruity flavor. This cherry tomato has traveled across the pond at least twice: Madeline McKeever of Brown Envelope Seeds in Ireland received this seed from a seed saver in Washington State while at an Organic Seed Alliance conference; & while we were in Ireland, we picked it up from her & brought it back to the Pacific Northwest.
