The Boxer Rebellion is an experimental recombinant of seed that I made available through the tomwagnerseeds.com...and hoping someone will send me seed back of one or more of the more interesting clones. I want to re-issue the name with better selections as F-3 possibly but more likely after the filial level approaches F-6.
Thanks for showing the pictures

Nice pictures thanks, I love the shape on these toms. I've got a few plants growing, they are just starting to set fruit now, fingers crossed for stripes.

The Boxer Rebellion should segregate (since it is F-2) into striped, partly striped, and non striped.
I should segregated mostly for long shapes and my hope, even though I think it will be red, for some to stay green when ripe. The leaves should remain long and slender on most variants.
The growth habit may include some dwarfs...are any showing up folks? I will check with Gary in Hawaii since he is the one promoting BOXER REBELLION...to see if he has some plants ripening.
I did not sow any seed here locally to observe....too busy to sow many more and find homes for them.

I'm sorry that the fruit looks a little "off" but it is interesting nonetheless. I do not typically save seed from mutated fruit. I think it looks cool with striping on te maturing fruit, even if it's not a dwarf and not GWR. Of course it's Tom's decision if he wants seed to pursue this line/phenotype. but I'd say save seeds Terry.

Here are a couple of other segregates. Neither of which you are looking for but the striped Orange is nice. I will probably save seed from better examples of the orange. Segregates that are not what we are looking for will only get seed saved if it tastes really good to fantastic! The Red seems to have much better crack resistance than the striped orange. I really would like some seed of the Boxer Rebellion Row 11 plant 1. This is showing up exactly what was the unknown parent of the off type plant in Iowa. That is probably a better fit for what I was looking for rather than just a red/yellow stripe.
I need to make a better plea for seed back from all my customers and their trading partners.

These late selections are truly the best. Bigger, fatter, sturdier, fuller and better taste.

I need to make a better plea for seed back from all my customers and their trading partners. I was just composing an email to you about this and thought perhaps better post one question here in case others wonder as I do: Would you like seeds back from any of your potatoes as well as ones from tomatoes?
