I am sure glad I was able to send most of the tubers of Azule Rose out to as many folks as I did. Thanks, Wendy, for the photo!
Blooming ability has been a major feature of the breeding pedigree going back 7 generations on the female side since 1987, and I have TPS of Azule Rose ready to transplant soon...hoping to get berries of it to make it 9 generations.

Wow. Beauts. I am looking for flowers from tubers sown in the fall. I wonder why mine never flowered....maybe too dry?

My azule rose never flowered either and I suspect it was also to dry, and hot. I may have planted to late also. I got one potato, and a small one at that. Would love to see photo of tubers when you dig them wendy. Gray

I spotted berries on this cluster. Too soon to tell if continue to be attached 6wks until they mature, it is OP since the bumblebees are all over my potato flowers this year.

Wendy, glad you put that photo up. It shows the flower cluster with no bud drop. That means the buds have and will likely continue to take and make berries.
I have TPS seedlings from my plant of Azule Rose of last year, hoping they show the same berry making potential. I truly hope the generations since Blue Rose are fully inbred lines....bulking up the flower size and intensifying the flower color.
Good news is that I have lots of full sibs of Azule Rose to select from this year.

Slick. Mine are not doing so well. After a good start, all have dies down now. From and August 20th planting, this is too early. The good news is I found a small tuber on one of the earlier ones that got snapped in high winds. All is not lost. Will see what the last 3 hills have to offer and what the dormancy period will be before trying again.
Did you get seed?

Mine refused to die down, planted May 1st it was the first to emerge. I let it get frost bite and was still alive SO I killed it (broke the branches and let sit for 2 weeks) by October 15th after 5 1/2 months. I'll keep an eye on dormancies too.
I got 3 berries.

I am curious to find out what blog platform you are utilizing? I'm having some minor security problems with my latest blog and I would like to find something more secure. Do you have any suggestions? seraphina.top
