got it! the seeds (incl potatoes) are being started this month. TheFuture Ormond Bermuda, is a name I would like to propose for a green fleshed tomato with a blue shoulder exposed to the sun. I am taking the name from a Bermuda grass (C. dactylon) called Ormond; Selected from a fairway at Ellinor Village Country Club, Ormond Beach, Florida, for attractive blue-green color. Therefore my new member TheFuture should be looking for that type of segregation of the tomato seed I sent him. Once again, I am not keeping on the task of relating directly to the topic of hybrid Tye-Dye, but since my Green Zebra is linked to the heritage (pedigree) of such....Oh, Well! Tom Wagner

I am interested in Bermuda as a potential micro climate growing area to test the qualities of anything I have developed. If I ever had enough funding to do research there, your results would/could be important. But with the economy hurting members of my own family, I doubt if going to Bermuda personally will ever be a factor.

Let's see what "the future" holds. 12 month tomato growing is what I see! Winter winds can be an issue in unsheltered areas but otherwise, we are good to go.
