Michel and I had a great time at Forcalquire and in Switzerland. I am now in Zurich with my son Kaighin and resting up a bit.
When I get time I will post some more information. It has been difficult to get Internet connections when the trips and talks keep one from finding the time or access.

Kaighin and I arrived in Vienna last night and are getting ready to visit the ornate buildings in the city center. We saw the lit up buildings last night and we wanted to see them in the daylight.
Lecture tonight should be fun since i will deliver the entirety in English.

Taking another rare break to post here. Just completed a workshop in Denmark and spending a quite evening with my hosts, The Crosslands.
My son and I had a wonderful stroll in Sweden last night after a short ferry ride from Denmark to there.
Going to Jutland tomorrow

Quick report here. We had a great trip through Jutland and through Germany before going on to Ireland. Got to see a number of fun sights...ruins, farms, potatoes, tomatoes, pubs, houses, boats, rivers, and ocean seas. Workshop tomorrow.

I have lots of pics on my camera and loaded onto my laptop. Don't know yet how to post them however. That will come soon as I get home I hope.
Two days of workshops here in Ireland and totally successful. I will have my group meet every year now for comparing my seed development progress in Ireland. Cool beans!
Two days of filming by a documentary fella was fun. The highlight was being filmed as I dropped the Lumper's children, grandchildren, great grandchildren and great-great grandchildrens' potato seed---scattered over the mass graves of the Irish folk who died during the famine years at Skibberean. I said a few words about bringing back the Lumper potato variety to Ireland and with late blight resistance to erase the hurt caused by the failure of their variety. I have people all over Ireland going to grow my Lumper crosses next year.
Late blight resistance in potatoes and tomatoes was a major issue discussed during two days. Heading for the Isle of Man tomorrow. Got to get some sleep.

Too short of a visit on the Isle of Man. But at least my son and I packed a lot into the tour. Tough to drive and the wrong side of the road and the wrong side of the car, but I did it well.
Good visit also with the Sarpo potato man David Shaw in North Wales. He wants me back some day. We talked late blight and stuff the whole time.
Also a good first day visit with the Doubleday folks.
Found a rare place to access the internet wifi but too much to answer to suit my time restraints.

Too much going by to reflect on again, but I have finished with my talks in Europe. Two days here in Oxford, England and before that two days up in Coventry with Garden Organic (Doubleday).
Heading home tomorrow from London. Vickie and Neal have been wonderful hosts. Patrick and Steph have been wonderful hosts.
I feel that the fun and games are coming to a close and back to seed extraction and potato harvest.

I hope and think that Michel and Tom made a difference in the course of 21st century humanity, as ripples on a still pond, with this trip to Europe. I look forward to hearing all about it.
