Temps are falling in the PNW and rain is on the way.
Tom, your tomatoes are coming in fast and furious now, but some pushing their luck vis a vis late blight! I should keep a garden journal and keep track of when the tomatoes croak.
I should be able to get seed from everything.
You have a cute little plant ripening perfect little fruits somewhere intermediate between plum-shaped and oxheart. The plant looks to be determinate and is going senescent dramatically fast. I will be busy harvesting seeds this weekend.
It will be interesting to see what happens to the tomato with the blight-resistance gene(s). It's been a weak grower but it's fairly healthy otherwise.
Your purple is just as purple as can be. The one I posted was on the north-facing side of the row (that was stupid--I was in a hurry and the tomatoes ended up oriented east-west instead of north-south that would have made more sense--I need to find a better spot for them). The ones that have ripened since then got hit with some sun and were very purple except for a small portion of the shady spot.
