I noticed the article in the Guardian by James Wong just hours after it was published. I have a google alert of anything Green Zebra. I like the implication of Tomatidine and I'll bet I have elevated levels in my green tomato breeding work. If Tomatidine can help reverse muscle deterioration .....I'm all for this.
I have one of James Wong's books and today I finally got a facebook message reply from him. He says he rarely checks his messages. Hehe. I am more apt to check Facebook messenger than anything else.
His reply indicated he loves my work and my message to him was a surprise.
Tomatidine is an alkaloid and like potatoes it is an alkaloid present in higher levels in the leaves than it the edible parts. I will focus on the Tomatidine in a later report here.
