Once again I use my own customized search engine to surf the 'net. Since this forum is about TaterMaterSeeds.com, I use it as a sounding board for things I have done, am doing, and will be doing. I am encouraged by the rapid dissemination of information around the world. I guess I would like to be more pro-active in getting my message heard. Too long I allowed time to judge my tomato varieties as simply heirlooms, only to read that my Green Zebra is not an heirloom. However, the Green Zebra is probably one of the most recognized in any heirloom collection. Many accidental crosses of Green Zebra have become popular in their own right. Most people do not realize that I have hundreds of creations with Green Zebra as a direct parent or buried dozens of generations back in its pedigree. I have been too selfish, for lack of a better word, to allow the other lines,(some are 30 years old) to be released. If my talks, demonstrations, and futuristic ideas take hold in Europe before they do in the USA, it is likely credit be due Kokopelli and many of the friends of Kokopelli. I can't represent other plant breeders and it seems often that we are at odds with each other, fighting for what little publicity that is ever thrown our way. So, when I see blips like the following...I must say that I am grateful for such opportunities to talk about TaterMater matters..... Fantastic that you are finally getting credit. What was the old saying about a prophet in his own land?
