Happy Birthday, Tom!!!
In January, 1992, I got the Organic Gardening issue with Colorful Tomatoes and I was never the same. You were referred to as The king of odd tomatoes and got 11 paragraphs about your work.
I've grown a few of your tomato releases (so far). Hope to have more releases from you soon.
Good luck in your endeavors!

Thanks everybody for the birthday wishes. I called my near 90 year old mother to wish her a happy birthday today since she did all the work all those years ago. All of her sons and daughters are now retired.
I think my mom probably thinks my being the king of old tomatoes is more like being the joker! She certainly had a long history of sampling my silly creations. I still remember her flying off the handle when I would be spending hours out crossing when I was a kid and not so much a kid.
