This is my Tentative grow-list of Tom Wagner varieties for 2016. I will add everything if I get a grow-space at one of our family farms. But in town I am limited to a select few.
1) Abracazebra
2) Blackballed
3) Blue Angel
4) Blue Bully x Green Brandy F-3 GWR Striped
5) Blue Fog
6) Blue Streak
7) Blue Tears -- Looking to cross this with a chartreuse foliage variety and see some high atv on chartreuse foliage. Should be a nice contrast; although the chartreuse foliage has been very difficult to capture and carry on 100% but I think I have done it.
8) Bluestem Yamali F-2-- looking for the high atv in this foliage too.
9) Clackamas Blueberry
10) Churra Plum -- my first time growing this one
11) Dancing With Smurfs F-7
12) DWS x IR X MW x HB F-2 I am not sure I want to start growing this F-2 unless I have a VERY large space to do it with.
13) Golden Crabapple
14) Gold Keeper-- These are the good ones from my 2011 grow-out.
15) Green Zebra -- Arizona/Hawaii Strain-- Hopefully the rest of this seed will be true to type. I had an orange cherry last time I grew this. Only 3 seeds left.
16) Momognahela Epidote F-6 Striped cherry with outstanding flavor. I hope that flavor carries through.
17) Out Of The Blue
18) Pansy AP -- clear-skinned flesh seems to give the best flavor imo.
19) P-20 x Momotaro F-4 outstanding flavor. 1st batch from 2012 grow-out.
20) Searching For The Blue Zebra F-2 -- only two seeds left from original F-2 batch.
21) Shadow Boxing-- 1 seed from original batch. I am not sure what F generation these were offered at?
22) Skykomish and Sky Reacher -- I have contacted my County Extension-- Michigan State University, and they are looking for a garden with late blight in it from last year [for me].
23) Striped Students
24) Watermelon Wine F-5 -- 1st grow-out was only one plant. This time I will plant all 7 seeds for best selection.
As I stated above, if I get the garden space I will plant all of the over 50 varieties of Tom's that I have. And if I do get the space I will try and weasel a few more varieties out of Tom.
God bless all your efforts this year everybody.
