Hello Tom...The IMO Mix TPS is beginning to spring forth and I can already see many differences. Please tell me what gems will come from this mix?

The IMO mix is a group of seedlings from 97H32-14 Diploid. Look for self-compatibility, which is rare in diploids. Mostly white and light purple skin. Flesh mostly white. I did not check for pollen selfers among this group but hoping for self compatibility to be among this group since the parents tended to act that way down in San Diego County last year. Anything that sets lots of berries is a good place to start to test for the selfing trait. A helpful task would be to taste the tubers produced to see if any of the chacoense bitterness came through.

Thank you. So far, most of the little seedlings are purple-stemmed...light purple to very dark purple. The undersides of the leaves are purple. There's a few that are all green. These will be fun to watch develop.
