Hi all. I received the Kokopelli newsletter this morning and found that Tom will cross the Atlantic for the second time in March. For all these years I've purchased, grown and loved his varieties, I'd be honored to be there in Brussels.

Julien, you've beat me to the punch! Yes, an invitation to give workshops in Europe was too good to pass up.

Tom, will you take a few hundred small packs of potato or tomato seed to distribute? This would be an outstandingly good chance to put some unusual genetics into circulation.

Many thanx for all the knowledge, seeds and tips you gave to me, I will apply it as soon as I get flowers on my potatoes, my tomatoes... and a lot other plants. Perhaps I will get something close to the 'rose de lucine'
Sorry about my terrible accent, I rarely have the chance to practice it, what i was trying to ask was if you ever obtained plants with very elongated foliage (willow type in gardening) or with green acidic or even yellow leaves or particular flowers. It is for an ornemental use, an other way to ré-introduce plants to the people. By the way for this year I will try to associate magic dragons TPS to my bedflowers, if it works I will send you a picture.
I am still curious to taste honey from potatoes flowers like we do with lavender, maybe one day...
I am ready to the challenge you gave us with the corn, however I cant cross it with local varieties because I think there is none in the north east of france, however I have some varieties I can use instead.
I will share my pictures.

Cyril, I remember you well from Namur Belgium from the event there March 21 and 22. My introduction to you was hampered by my inability to hear Cyril as French accents makes my poor ears hear a name in a much tortured fashion.
I quite remember the questions about red fleshed potatoes and germination issues are a common refrain in TPS. And the question about narrow leaves in potatoes were most seen in Yukon Gold hybrids and more so in the selfing of those hybrids. Also I found narrow leaves in my Di-Rus series. I am sure narrow leaves were found in other clones but my memory tends to focus on the ones that stood out for me.
I came home on the 27th of March. slowly getting over the jet lag. r
