Hmmm, I was suggesting a while by myself but did not get to the right answer. This tomato plant, from which the tomato (on the left) is came up a while ago after I got the seeds in the ground. As I am re-using the coconut substrat in which I am growing my seedlings, one day this foundling came up. So I had no idea out of which seed package from Tom it was. The plant just give me this one tomato with an olive colour and green stripes (it was a very late plant, and I had mites). Perhaps one of you have an idea which variety it might be.

Simone, I looked thru your blog...http://gartenchaot.blogspot.de/ and did not find a match to the picture above. I know you have accessed quite a bit of my segregating lines but you may have to send me a private email or something to list what you have received over the years.

Hello Tom I wrote you a message just some minutes ago. I must say I have another blog, beside my English blog (which I sorrily neglected). Besides my problem with mites, which I have descriped in this other blog, I have shown some pics. Some tomatoes from you are also pictured, like Blue Bayou (a striped one), Chocolate Blues, Fahrenheit, Chaclamas Blue, Cote d´Zebra, Sunny Sweet Crunch, Wolly Kate, Cascade Village blue (which has a burgundy colour - just beautiful) and Magic Trick. But the problem for most of you will be that it is in my first language - German This is the blog: suechtling.blogspot.de/You must look under: "August", "September" and "Oktober" to see the pics. Somewhere on my laptop I have a pic of a yellow, hearty Beauty Mark with stripes. Hopefully I find it. Simone

It looks a bit like Striped Students... Really? Mine was much smaller, and was red with stripes. But this one nearly had the size of a baseball, and my Striped Student had a good thingytail size. But I will see how it will look like next year. Perhaps you are right. It looked like no other variety that I grow from Tom this year, and I had a lot! I will call it Olive Oyl, it was Tom´s idea, and I will keep it. Simone
