I've been having fun growing Seattle Blue Woolly Mammoth, love woollies. Also have a soft spot for small growing dwarves, hence crossing a SBWM F3/4? segregant to a small dwarf. I don’t know what is in Seattle Blue Woolly Mammoth pedigree but for me it’s come up trumps. This is the first of the above cross F3 plants to ripen. It’s determinate and partly woolly, small growing, striped and blue, although size may have been restricted somewhat from growing in a small pot. Always excited to see tomatoes ripen but I had a lovely surprise with this one, I just love the colours and stripe pattern. Cheers Tom

There must have been some real magic in the parents of this cross. I've got 8 segregating lines from it growing this year and that one looks pretty nice as well. Where are you that you're getting ripe tomatoes already? My plants are mostly 2-3 inches tall at this point.

Wow, superb, I look forward to your gorgeous pictures. I think you are right about magic in the parents I've gone back a step this year to Tom's original seed, although now I'm thinking I wish I'd sowed a couple of lines I've saved. I'm in the UK, still freezing overnight! I grew some dwarf/small growing plants inside this winter, helps me with the winter blues! Though I've moved them out to a greenhouse now. A bit of a shock for them as only the minimum of heat.

Jay, so you have a striped dwarf with antho' already at F-3? You would be the first that I have heard of in this category. Blane at The Tomato Depot has one and it would be possible to get one from Shadow Boxing but the one dwarf I got last year had stripes but no antho'.

Just to add, although I wasn't expecting much taste wise I'm quite shocked, this is a really tasty tomato. Not sweet, but full of tomato flavour, I've no idea if this will follow through to the next generation?

I'm not sure this can be called a dwarf, more a very compact growing determinate? Although some other lines (?) from this cross maybe dwarf. I got seeds for 'dwarf' Shadow Boxing this season, looking forward to seeing what grows from them, I really liked some of the segregants I grew from Shadow Boxing last season.
