Finally got a good Muddy Waters to ripen. Very nice, productive variety.

The contrast between the amber and antho skin and the green interior is very nice, as is the flavor. Very well balanced, not as zippy as Green Zebra. You can see in the picture that if they're getting full sun they can get quite dark. www.onthemarksolutions.net/images/peppers/Muddy Waters Plate.JPG[/img]

Tom - this is quite a remarkable tomato. Three of my four plants have striped fruit, all show similar anthocyanin accumulation and all have bright green (lime green) flesh. The taste was much better than I expected (~8.5) and the fruit are very firm with very good shelf life. This is the first Aft GWR I've seen, and it is a nice one.

So what does it taste like and when can I get some seed? Awesome color contrast. Gray

Taste is very nice, balanced and not as zippy as green zebra can be. I'm saving seed from my selection and have offered to send some back to Tom if he'd like to offer it again as I think this one has a lot of promise.

Oh, and I wanted to say that the plant I've selected from does have nice striping when the fruits aren't directly in the sun, but if they are they get quite dark, the three fruits in the plate picture all came from the plant I'm using for seed saving, along with this one that was in the interior of the foilage. I really like this one in case you can't tell. ;D www.onthemarksolutions.net/images/peppers/Muddy Waters Stripes.JPG[/img]

In my blue tomato taste test Mix the Two was just slightly ahead of this one but both were a good solid 8+ on a scale of 10. Very nice work!

THE best tasting Muddy Waters selection to date. Another segregate I am waiting for to ripen is one with good striping. Muddy Waters:

This is a F2 selection from Muddy Waters. Correction - it is the filial generation after the seed I received - I am guessing this is a F3 or F4. I had about a dozen plants, and they were pretty uniform.
