I haven't grown anything lately due to various factors but I have started a tray this year. I now have sprouts from seeds collected from berries produced in 2011 from a sample of tubers Tom Wagner sent me. The seeds that have germinated and are now four days old are from Howie Mandel, Milikokia River, and Red Thumbs. I also have starts from a potato named Victoria. I am trying to time these for a late crop here in Indiana. I am not sure if this will work but I am hoping to put out these plants after 8 weeks and they will have 100 days in the ground by mid-October. My hope is to have tubers from this to plant next Spring. Howie Mandel and Red Thumbs were had nearly 100% germination. Milikokia River had good enough to hopefully have several plants and Victoria was the least of the four but there are still something to hope for. I will post some photos of progress as I go.

Indyartist, yes, please keep us updated with photos.
I have grown the Victoria you mention, and have grown a very small amount of TPS plants from it. I have some TPS started this year from a few of Tom's lines, including 2011 seed from BLUE ROCKIES. It is among my oldest seed and I started about half of what I had left of it.

Nathan, I planted two others from Tom, Diamond Toro and Skagit Valley Double Hybrid but got no results. Every thing that came up was from berries collected. The two unsuccessful were from seeds purchased from Tom but I am unsure of the year.

I have planted all my TPS starts in the garden bed today. They are at about 6 weeks since germination. They are Howie Long (5),Milakokia River (5), Victoria(4) and Red Thumbs(4). I will post photos if I have any success.

I am growing Diamond Toro this year too but from tubers that were [2018], and those from 2017 TPS harvest. I still have 1 seed left from the original pack.

I got a few seeds of TPS potatoes from a friend in Tomatoville. They are somewhat older (20013 or 2014) it is a variety of SKAGIT VALLEY GOLD. I've never grown potatoes from TPS, I want to try. I assume that I will sow the seeds together with the tomatoes in early March. Keep your fingers crossed for my seeds to be germinate. VladimĂr
