Crimson Crush - www.gardenfocused.co.uk/vegetable/tomato-outdoor/variety-crimson-crush.phpIt's on sale here in the UK and claimed to be 100% blight resistant (although i never believe things can be totally immune). It's an F1, this probably benefits the seed company. I'm wondering what sort of background it has? My first though was it'll have other species in its background, what are they likely to be? I read it has resistance to all 3 UK blight strains, is it likely then it'll have some sort of stacked resistance? And if someone bred using that, to carry on the resistance in crosses would you have to "saturate" the bloodline of new crosses with it (like by doing many back crosses to it) or would the offspring still come out quite random like potatoes? (I've never looked into tomato breeding before).

It would be interesting if the claims were true. Tom Wagner also has a couple of varieties that are blight resistant [maybe more].
