Today I harvested the first TPS seedling SVGx1 9 tubers total 9.4onz, the skin is thin but does look a bit flaky skin/russet?. Color inside is white, size about 2.5in elongated, taste was 4.

The 2nd TPS seedling SVGx2 is in full bloom again, peaked underneath and it has a blue skinned potato, many undeveloped tubers. Waiting until weather allows. Third SVGx3 is struggling to grow, it has some cute yellow tubers. The other SVGx4 died. Attachments:

BillW kindly offered to do ploidy analysis and I sent him leaves from Lump D'Oro [LDO] which he found to be an interesting case with mostly having 8 GCC [guard cells per chloroplast] but a smaller number of 12 GCC. Whether this is a diploid or multiploid is not clear, the amount of sample tissue were too small to repeat the test. This potato has great dormancy improved to 4 months under normal conditions. Now is in Curzio Cavarati'a KPP collection (I kept few clones). The other plant I sent was LNX2 was a sibling of LDO that was also pink skin, not great yield or size. averaged 8.5 GCC diploid with a small chance of being triploid. Results from Lump D'Oro OP2014 - looking for yellow flesh (LDO is a selection from TPS of Lumper Nordic x Skagit Valley Gold*, LDOX is OP TPS aka Lumper Nordic F2) I grew several plants only reporting results from 4 plants only LDOX1 green leaves, mauve skin yellow flesh good flavor, early renaming it Lump Malva for now LDOX2 chartreuse leaves renamed Lump Magenta for now Attachments:

LDOX3 The blue one was surprising. LDOX4 had pretty chartreuse leaves, it has red skin and has a faint red line in mostly pale yellow flesh Attachments:
