Here are some observations I made from my TPS seedlings this year,
for now its just about the annual parts, I will harvest the tubers as soon as they are ready
and of course I'm gonna take pictures.
I gave a number to all the plants to follow their growth next year, but I wont keep the weak ones.
They all grown in large pots but I had to tight the plant a little.
they grown up pretty fast the last 2 month
AZUL ROSE :
*1 : The top of the plant shown chocolate but now its more like caramel foliage,
it sure want to grow upright, had some light purple flowers with orange/red anthers.
The picture is more light than the reality
*2 : Healthy, wants to grown upright , did not bloom.
*3 : Big healthy plant , upright too, I dont remember the flowers color
but there is few fruits.
*4 : Healthy and upright plant, did not bloom.
*5 : Not very big but healthy, did not bloom.
MAGIC DRAGONS :
*1 : Medium sized and healthy, this one shown a lot of light blue blowers
and ondulated foliage, a very pretty plant.
*2 : Too weak to be kept.
*3 : Same as number 2, but with early blight.
*4 : The most vigorous of all my seedlings, upright plant showing white flowers, very long flowering period,
some berries are growing. It tooks nearly half the space.
*5 : Quite big Sprawling plant who gave many purple flowers,
its setting berries.
*6 : Sprawling plant but low growth, have some white flowers.
*7 : Little growth but set a lot of fruits, I dont remember the flowers colors.
SKAGIT BEET :
*1 : To weak to be kept.
*2 : Healthy plant with some brown foliage, the purple flowers are giving some fruits.
*3 : Medium devellopement plant showing brown foliage but with early blight now.
*4 : Bigger than the other skagit beets, dark green foliage, shown purple flowers
with unusual red anthers.
CIETER'S gold : All little plants, The slugs loved them most than the othets.
*1 : Quite small but healty plant, shown few little light purple flowers.
*2 : Little but healthy, did not bloom.
*3 : Same as number 2
AWOL DUDE :
*1 : Tubers are pink skinned, plant is medium sized and sprawling,
shown many big purple flowers, then some fruits.
*2 : Healthy and sprawling plant with purple stems and nervs, did not bloom
SKAGIT VALLEY GOLD HYBRID :
*1 : Little sprawling plant, set few purple flowers.
*2 : Vigorous and healthy with pretty purple flowers
RUSSET NUGGET : Vigorous, Wanted to grow upright but the plant was too heavy,
big white flowers giving berries.
FINNBAD, CHAUCHA AMARILLA LARGA & 41st DAY : I did the seedling way too late so they are too little to be planted this year.
