Hello, i got some seeds of Chelzee Green from a kind member of a tomato forum. The whole internet gave me no help. So, is there anybody here who has grown this variety and knows something about it?? Color, size...anything at all... Thank you!!

Chelzee Green is a Green Grape type that I bred up years ago. I am surprised anyone had it. Away from home now or I would pull up some info on it. I do know that I was trying to incorporate VFNT into the Green Grape variety and still keep it a green when ripe cherry tomato. If you've got some new seed of it I would love to grow it again from your seed.

I've grown it before, but I'm afraid I can't remember much about it other than smallish green fruits. I've not saved seeds and not made notes which usually means L.Blight fatality. I'm growing two plants this year and so far they look great, just waiting on the first fruits to set. Here is the description I copied from New World Seeds 2011 "Chelzee Green: Wonderful flavored green fleshed deep globes of about 2 and 1/2 inches. Indeterminate vine." Look forward to hearing more about this one Are you growing it this season Justme?

Thank you for your answers.
Tom, I got the seeds from a member of the tomatodepot. She thinks, but is absolutly not quite sure, that it is an orange tomato with red interior.
You both must wait a year. In Germany the season is running, and I can not start with the seeds until February. Of course I will show you some pics and make some seeds for you Tom. For you jayb too if you want some.

There should be no variation in the Chelzee Green. Any other color puts a variable of some kind on that orange/red interior line.

Thanks Tom, hopefully mine will be true to their description and I'll be able to save seeds which I'd be happy to share. I'm quite excited to get a proper taste of these Thanks Simone, I look forward to hearing how yours turn out, I'm quite intrigued by the description of "an orange tomato with red flesh" even though will not be Chelzee Green.
